The Birth of an Icon
FGTR is born—the MOMODESIGN demi-jet helmet : the expression of a new way of experiencing and interpreting two-wheeled mobility. In the year 2000, MOMODESIGN creates its first demi-jet helmet, destined to become a metropolitan icon and a symbol of the brand’s tradition and evolution. A true emblem of urban style, FGTR debuts in four distinctive colors: silver, black, electric blue, and yellow. Its perfectly spherical shape, the double “T” logo, and the soft-touch finish contribute to its immediate success, turning it into a cult object for city and design enthusiasts.
2003
The First Evolutions
The first improvements—both aesthetic and functional—soon follow. The visor support is made of carbon fiber, while the locking system is refined to ensure greater safety and ease of use. To enhance comfort and hygiene for the wearer, the interior is lined with hypoallergenic materials, designed for daily use with an increasing focus on well-being.
2010
Ten Years, a New Chapter
Ten years after its launch, the FGTR gets a new look with its first true restyling, designed to best reflect MOMODESIGN’s evolving style. The helmet is completely redesigned and enhanced with aesthetic and functional details: an integrated sun visor, a new visor support screw featuring the iconic logo, a design element inspired by a car steering wheel, and a new removable inner lining made of memory foam—created to offer a more tailored and comfortable fit.
2015
FGTR Gets a Makeover
Fifteen years after its debut, FGTR undergoes a major transformation, evolving in both design and performance. The use of next-generation materials allows for increasingly innovative technical solutions. The cheek pads are redesigned and enlarged to improve aerodynamics, while the visor support screw is upgraded with a refined finish in brushed steel and matte black.
The interior is also reengineered to provide an even more comfortable and snug fit. Special attention is given to the color palette, curated to appeal to even the most discerning scooter riders—men and women alike—seeking style and personality.
2024
The Evolution of a Metropolitan Icon
A new generation of FGTR helmets is born from the partnership with Dainese. The helmet evolves in every aspect, completely redesigned with a restyling that enhances its signature elements, exclusive colors, and graphics—for a refined blend of style and quality, now perfected in terms of safety and comfort, achieving the stringent ECE 22.06 certification. A new shell, now available in three sizes for an ideal fit. Redesigned visor, carbon fiber supports, and an upgraded visor mechanism. Integrated sun visor, optimized for use with glasses, and newly designed cheek pads that offer a more enveloping feel for superior comfort. Completing the restyling are updated interiors, now ready for integration with the leading communication systems.
URBAN SHADES
Great attention has always been given to the study of colors and graphics. Over time, the FGTR palette has expanded—from matte and glossy pastels to fluorescents, pop tones, and iridescent finishes. Not to mention the reinterpretation of the brand’s four original iconic colors: silver, black, yellow, and electric blue, which defined its identity.
